Your (school’s/group’s) Christmas play has just ended. It was amazing! Many of your friends were in it. And the angels were so very… angelic! You turn to your (classmate/friend.) “I wish I could have been a shepherd in the real first Christmas!” Immediately after saying this, an angel swoops off the stage and proclaims, “I AM ANGELA, COME WITH ME!” The angel scoops you and your (classmates/friends) up in its soft warm wings and before you know it, you are in Bethlehem, dressed up as shepherds. The angel speaks again: “I need to go round up some more shepherds. You can find your way to the Nativity by doing 9 tasks that are posted on the innkeepers’ doors. The tasks will reveal a code to unlock the city gates, so you can go find where Jesus is, swaddled up in the manger. Yes, you will meet THE Baby Jesus! I will meet you in exactly one hour. Of course, I will take you back home in time for dinner. And one more thing, what you see today is a gift, to be cherished in your hearts forever.
This is so exciting! But how is this happening? No time to think about that. You certainly do not want to miss seeing Baby Jesus along with Mary and Joseph. You need to stay focused and solve the 9 tasks that will lead you to the Nativity. “This will be 100 times greater than the Christmas play!”
